Enemorina Eaner

Enemorina Eaner is one of the 77 woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Gurage Zone, Enemorina Eaner is bordered on the south by the Hadiya Zone, on the west by Oromia Region, on the north by Cheha, and on the east by Gumer.

The major town in Enemorina Eaner is Gunchire. This woreda covers part of the homeland of the Gurage people.

Based on figures published by the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, this woreda has an estimated total population of 277,432, of whom 147,037 were males and 130,395 were females; 3,090 or 1.11% of its population are urban dwellers, which is less than the Zone average of 6.3%. With an estimated area of 1,018.75 square kilometers, Enemorina Eaner has an estimated population density of 272.3 people per square kilometer, which is less than the Zone average of 278.3.
