Kilruane MacDonaghs is a
Gaelic Athletic Association club inNorth Tipperary . The club is named afterThomas MacDonagh , a signatory of the1916 Proclamation who was born and lived inCloughjordan .The clubhouse and field are located in Cloughjordan and the parish also takes in the villages of
Ardcroney and Kilruane.The finest day in the club's history was in 1986 when it captured the Senior Hurling Club All-Ireland title, defeating Buffers Alley of Wexford in the final by 1-15 to 2-10. [ [http://www.kilruanemacdonaghs.com Hurling] ]
