By Road:
** From Amsterdam Ring Road
***Use the A10 ring road around Amsterdam and take junction S118 (Signposted "Afrit S118"), onto the A8 towards Alkmaar. Then, 5km later, follow signs for the A7 towards Purmerend, Hoorn and Leeuwarden. Take the first junction of the A7, signposted Zaandijk and Zaanse Schans (Junction 8). Then take the N515 until you reach aroundabout , here you should turn right into the entrance of the Zaanse Schans.By Public Transport:
**From Amsterdam Centraal***By Train:Go to platform 8a, 11a or 13b. For Departure Times See Below. Journey time 16/17 minutes. To railway station Koog-Zaandijk. From Here you should walk using the N515 (Guisweg), up to the river and should either walk over the bridge or use the boat service. The Zaanse Schans is about 1km from the Station.
***By Bus:Use the east bus station, using service 91, which operates every 15 or 30 minutes. These two points are the last bus stops in each direction, so will stop. Journey Time is 45 minutes.
