History

The station opened on 1st November 1869 and is on the Zaanlijn from Amsterdam Sloterdijk to Uitgeest.

Zaanse Schans

To reach the Zaanse Schans from here, you should use the N515 (Guisweg), up to the river and should either walk over the bridge or use the boat service. The Zaanse Schans is about 1km from the Station.
