Maroie de Dregnau de Lille

Maroie de Dregnau de Lille

Maroie de Dregnau de Lille ("fl." 13th century) was a trouvère, a woman composer and poet. A single strophe of a single chanson that she wrote is extant, "Mout m'abelist quant je voi revenir", along with its music. These are in manuscript "F-Pn" f.f. 844, f.181. This is in a typical trouvère form, ABABCDE. [Coldwell]
