Atieno Odhiambo

Atieno Odhiambo (Atieno Elisha Stephen Odhiambo) (born 1945) is a Kenyan academic known for his contributions to the understanding of dangers inherent in politics of knowledge and sociology of power. Dr Odhiambo is professor of history at Rice University in U.S.A. where he currently lives and leads in the study of cultures. He was educated at Makerere in Uganda and University of Nairobi in Kenya.
