Azam Taleghani

Azam Taleghani (born in Iran) is an Iran|ian women's right activist and journalist.

Azam Taleghani in her interview with the Marie Claire Magazine, in the article "Tradition or outrage" said:" If my own daughter committed adultery, I would support death by stoning for her. The law is the law."

She is editor of "Payam Hajar" Weekly and a former member of the Iranian parliament.
