W. Herbert Dunton

W. Herbert Dunton

William Herbert "Buck" Dunton (1878-1936) was an American artist who was one of the founding members of the Taos Society of Artists and part of the Taos art colony. He first came to Taos, New Mexico, in 1912.

Among his proteges in Western art was Harold Dow Bugbee of Clarendon and Canyon in the Texas Panhandle.
