Pinewood Christian Academy is a co-ed private school located in the small town of Bellville, Georgia.

Academics

Pinewood has a calendar year of 180 days and each school day is 7 hours.

History

Pinewood Christain Academy was founded in 1970. The first headmaster was Mr. Tab Smith. By 2005, it had over 600 students and more than 30 teachers.

Demographics

Campus

A construction phase started in February 2008 to add several new classrooms to the lower school and upper school and a new lunchroom with a capacity for 400 students. The older lunchroom will be turned into a presentation room. The library for the school will now be moved to the lower school academic center, which is also receiving devolpment. The older library will now be offices. The construction is due to be complete in the fall of 2008.
