An electronic system in which variations in movement and speed of movement within an ultrasonic beam (maximum 6 metres) controls any hardware
synthesiser or audio software such as Reason, Live, CuBase, Sonar etc to produce music. The system also facilitates the articulations of moving or still images with the use of software such as Arkaos, Resolume etc. Each system can utilise up to 4 ultra sonic sensors (beams) and up to 8 proportional switching devices.Originally devised for use in avante garde dance, the fact that it can be used by anyone with the minimum of physical movement has led to it being commonly used inspecial needs education , for example, by David Jackson.External links
