Freedom Leadership Foundation

The Freedom Leadership Foundation is a political organization established by members of the Unification Church in the United States, mostly active during the late 1960s to mid 1970s. Leaders received official invitations from the South Vietnamese and Cambodian governments and were interviewed by Walter Cronkite on their return. Church opponents branded the FLF as an "arm" of the church, even an illegitimate "front group". Church leaders maintained that the FLF was a separate organization created for a a legitimate, worthwhile purpose.Fact|date=July 2008
