Expand Networks, Inc. is a company dealing in Application Acceleration solutions over the WAN, a fast-growing product category that attempts to solve the problems of latency and bandwidth that plague a wide variety of applications over distributed networks.

Expand Networks was founded in 1998 and while the company HQ is based in Roseland, New Jersey, its main development remains in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Storage Products Guide named Expand's Accelerator 6940 Appliance a “Winner of Excellence in Server Consolidation” for 2006. [http://www.storageproductsguide.com/server/6940.html] and in September, 2008 an Israeli high tech publication (The Marker.com [http://www.themarker.com] ) announced that Expand Networks will purchase NetPriva, a privately owned Australian IT company. Expand Networks confirmed this information but did not disclose the price it paid for the Australian firm.

Expand Networks has won the 2008 TechWorld.com Acceleration Product of the year.
