Stephen G. Breyer of theU.S. Court of Appeals for theFirst Circuit , and for JudgeKimba M. Wood of theU.S. District Court for theSouthern District of New York . She has been admitted to the New York and District of Columbia bars.She was a
litigation associate at thelaw firm ofWilliams & Connolly inWashington, D.C. , from 1996 to 1999. She worked onFirst Amendment ,criminal defense ,appellate cases, and other issues.As a
legal writer her commentaries can be found on her webpage atFindLaw . Her columns also appear inCNN 's Law Center. She has been a legal commentator onGood Morning America ,Court TV , CNN, andNPR , and local television and radio stations.Her first book, a
memoir ,The Bad Daughter , was published byAlgonquin Books in 1998. Her firstnovel , Three, was published byPlume Books in August 2003. It was translated into French byActes Sud in France, and also published in England by the UK division ofBantam Books in 2004. 3 is also available in translation in the Czech Republic. 3 was optioned for a film adaptation; Hilden is reportedly writing the first draft of the screenplay.External links
