The Last Command is the third and final book in the popular "Thrawn Trilogy" by author, Timothy Zahn.

Plot

Grand Admiral Thrawn has rallied the remaining Imperial forces against The New Republic in part by deploying clone soldiers. The Dark Jedi Joruus C'Baoth continues to try to lure Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa Solo, and Organa Solo's twins into his clutches. Ultimately, Skywalker and Mara Jade defeat C'Baoth on the planet Wayland, and Thrawn's murder leads the Imperial forces to surrender at Bilbringi.

Reception

This three-book series is part of the Star Wars expanded universe and is published Bantam Books with a combined total of over 15 million copies sold overall.
