He writes a popular and sometimes controversial blog on his experiences and reflections while working in Nigeria. He is also the Managing Director of Lagos' first online guide: Lagos Live. With his partnerBibi Bakare-Yusuf he runs a publishing company in Nigeria called Cassava Republic Press. His interests are in research into contemporary African cultures, photography and film-making.
