Per Morten Hoff (born
November 3 ,1956 inRøros ) is a Norwegian journalist and consultant. He is known within the Norwegian ICT business. Hoff has also been a member of the executive board of EICTA and represents the Norwegian ICT industry in many different forums.Hoff has been secretary general of
IKT-Norge (since1990 ). After his studies at theUniversity of Oslo , Hoff worked as a journalist atFarmand . Later he worked as senior consultant atSamfunnskontakt AS and since1988 has been associated withIKT-Norge . Hoff has made himself noticed in Norwegian public debate, and, according toDigi.no , has contributed much to promoting the Norwegian ICT business.Hoff has also been active within the athletic community, both as an athlete on a national level and also as a team leader in
Røros IL , Ready,Oslo Kajakklubb andOslo Friidrettskrets . Hoff has also spoken out for the legal security of athletes. Hoff started the "extreme race", "Råskinnet" (Norwegian for "roughneck"), which has drawn media attention; he has remained a key person behind the race, which had its 10 year anniversary in2006 .References and notes
