Jim Caldwell (born
December 12 ,1950 ) is an Americantelevision presenter . He began his television career as cohost ofWNEW-TV 's "PM Magazine " inNew York City . He was later the host ofTic Tac Dough from 1985 until its cancellation the following year. He later hostedTop Card for TNN, The Nashville Network, for 2 seasons.Caldwell was born in
Akron, Ohio . Since the early 1990s, he has hosted dozens ofinfomercial s. However, arguably the best-known product for which his company produced and he hosted a series of infomercials was theRotoZip Spiral saw, a power tool that "cuts holes, creates shapes, makes cut-outs" in virtually any construction material. It won "Infomercial of the Year." Caldwell's company Future Thunder Productions, Inc., (www.futurethunder.com) has been involved in writing, directing, or producing and certainly hosting over 120 infomercials. Classics include Dura-Lube, Dura-Shine, Flying Lure, Unbrakeable Autolock. He has pushed over $1 billion worth of goods into the world market place using infomercials as an awareness engine. He has also developed a marketing arm for a financial product that uses an automated, computerized trading platform through which individuals may achieve exceptional returns.
