Historic Oakwood Cemetery

Historic Oakwood Cemetery was founded in 1869 in Raleigh, North Carolina near the North Carolina State Capitol. Historic Oakwood Cemetery contains a special area within its convert|102|acre|km2, the Confederate Cemetery, located on the original two and one-half acres given for that purpose by Henry Mordecai in 1867.
