Lafayette Sunnyside Middle School is a junior high school in Lafayette, Indiana and is administered by the Lafayette School Corporation. Sunnyside is attended by 6th grade students in the LSC.
History
Ground was broken for Lafayette's first junior high school in July 1953. Named Sunnyside Junior High School by the board on February 1, 1954, it was built on Cason Street near Murdock Park and dedicated March 13, 1955. Construction of the school's auditorium began in 1955; it was dedicated October 14, 1956.
