The "Gods of Grind" was a 1992 music tour featuring four new and innovative death metal and doom metal bands at the time - Cathedral, Carcass, Entombed, and Confessor. These bands were signed to Nottingham's Earache Records label and featured on the compilation album of the same name.

Note that despite the tour's name only Carcass actually played music of Grindcore genre. Entombed was perceived as death metal and both Cathedral and Confessor were recognised as doom metal bands.

Entombed's performance in London was released 6 years later as Monkey Puss (Live in London).
