When Tenet acquired the holdings of the Allegheny University it created MCP Hahnemann University and arranged for
Drexel University to assume its operation. In 2002 Tenet Healthcare agreed for MCP Hahnemann University to be merged into Drexel for a period of 20 years, Tenet also agreed to an affiliation between theDrexel University College of Medicine and Tenet's teaching hospitals in the Philadelphia area, with Hahnemann University Hospital being one of those.References
