He told The Sydney Morning Herald about how he wanted to spend more time with his family. Frank Pritchard was a part of the Kiwis Squad who lost to the Australians 16-12 in extra time. He scored one try, his first international points.
Controversy
On February 17, 2007, just prior to the 2007 NRL season, Frank and his brother Tom Pritchard were involved in an incident during the night time in the Liverpool area. His brother reportedly received four knife wounds, including one to the pulmonary artery. Frank was also injured after being stabbed in the hand which led to him having an operation the afternoon after the attack.
