George Alan, born February 27, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan, is an American actor of Macedonian descent. Alan has appeared in several television shows, including Criminal Minds, Entourage, 24, Charmed, Friends, Ally McBeal and the pilot episode of Lost; Alan had a recurring role on the show Girlfriends as the bartender at The Blue Bar.

Biography

George Alan is from Detroit, Michigan. He was pluckedfrom a local mall at the age of sixteen by a modelingscout and for the next decade worked in the majormarkets of New York, Miami, Chicago, Greece, Milanoand cities throughout Asia.

He turned the tables and became a photographer for theElite and Wilhelmina Agencys before moving to LosAngeles.

George worked on stage and in commercials untillanding the role of the "La Guy" on "Ally McBeal". Hecontinued to work in television roles on Friends,
Charmed, The Division, Entourage, 24, Lost,and Criminal Minds, before landing a recurring roleon UPN's hit Girlfriends,as their flirty bartender.

George played smaller roles in the features,"Repli-Kate"(Frankie opposite Ali Landry), andRichard Day's indie-favorite Straight-Jacket. Helanded the lead role of Walter, the tough yetincompetent son of a Mafia kingpin opposite Twink Caplan in Sweet Tessie and Bags. This led to the juicy role of Drago, theforeign and very passionate movie director in thecomedy Secrets of a Hollywood Nurse with Twink Caplan and Stacey Dash, written and directed by
Willard Huyck (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom).

George's latest work Naked Run, is a comedy in postproduction. He played the role of Fari Fallujahopposite Charles Durning.

George is of Slavic Macedonian descent.
