Sumo Power is a British tuning company based in Sheerness in Kent, England. One of their most famous cars is the 1150bhp sumo skyline, which is capable of speeds up to 235mph. Sumo Power are one of the biggest tuning companies in Britain and are highly recognised around the world.Fact|date=May 2007

Project Cars

Sumo skyline: Without a doubt the most famous of the Sumo Power Demo Vehicles has to be the R34 GTR Nissan Skyline. Named 'Ichiban' (Number 1 in Japanese) this vehicle is responsible for setting records in Europe and also pushing the boundaries of the UK Aftermarket scene forward. An astonishing 9.68 second quarter mile time set in this car was a second in front of its nearest competitors.

Evo 6: The Sumo Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 6 was one of the original line up of Sumo Power cars.Purchased by Sumo in 2001, the standard spec 1999 Model GSR did not stay that way for long and quickly became a testing bed for manufacturers products. This vehicle was unique at the time as it was fitted with the only fully built HKS (Company) Super engine which existed in a road car in the UK, Built by HKS Europe based in Cambridgeshire, UK.

Making its appearance in October 2006, the next car from the Sumo Power stable is 'Project Fuujin'. Fuujin is a 1995 Nissan Skyline R33GTR. This car aims to do a quarter mile drag strip in 8 seconds. During the shakedown session the recorded time was 9.2 seconds.
