Simon Barnett is a radio, television host and presenter in New Zealand. He has recently hosted the hit New Zealand show Stars in Their Eyes (New Zealand).

Personal Life

Barnett attended Ashburton College in 1980 near Christchurch,Canterbury, and Graduated the college in 1984. He is married to wife Jodi, with who he has four daughters. They are named, Samantha, Sophie, Isabella & Lily.

He also did acting work, most notably appearing in a New Zealand feature film, Ruby and Rata (1990).

As well as co-hosting the morning slot on 91ZM and currently More FM in Christchurch for many years with Phil Gifford, latterly Gary McCormick.

He was very active in voicing his opinions against the controversial Child Discipline Bill, proposed in New Zealand Parliament in 2007.

His most recent project is the New Zealand version of Stars In Their Eyes.
