Friedrich Soennecken (September 20, 1848 in
Iserlohn -Dröschede,Sauerland – July 2, 1919 inBonn ), wasentrepreneur andinventor . He was the founder ofSoennecken , a German office supplier.Soennecken was born in 1848 as a son of a
forge . On May 27 1875 he founded the " the F. Soennecken Verlag", a commercial enterprise inRemscheid ,Westphalia . His main invention is the development of writing with a round tip of a pen (nibs). It eased the way of writing with pens up to now. Soennecken published writing books for the new type of writing appearing in several languages. He also introduced the two-hole-perforator . In 1876 he and his company relocated to Poppelsdorf, nearBonn to be closer to the University which later awarded him the honor title "Dr. med. h. c.".In 1888,
