Eesti Põlevkivi AS is a subsidiary of Eesti Energia, an Estonian state-owned energy company. The core activity of Eesti Põlevkivi is oil-shale mining in the north-east of Estonia.

Eesti Põlevkivi has following subsidiaries:
* Põlevkivi Kaevandamise AS - operator of Narva and Aidu open-pit mines, and Estonia and Viru underground mines.
* AS Põlevkivi Raudtee - rail transportation company
* Orica Eesti OÜ (35% of shares) - production of explosives
