"Sade-Sati" or the 7½ years "Sani" (Saturn) astrological phase is much feared by those in

Zodiac Sign after the Moon Sign which once again lasts for 2½ years making the total period to 7½ years period called "Sade-Sati". During such a period the bad luck usually comes out; during Saturdays (day ruled by "Sani" or Saturn) or when the date is 8th, 17th or 26th or when the star ruling on a particular day is "Pushyami" (8th star), "Anuradha" (17th star) or "Uttarabhadra" (26th star).
