Hangedup

Hangedup are a post-rock group from Montreal, Canada. They are a two-piece band, featuring Genevieve Heistek (Sackville, Pest 5000) on Viola and Eric Craven (Shortwave, Sackville, now Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band) on drums and percussion. Their sound can be described as viola put into loops, with lots of percussion (sometimes using selfmade instruments).

They formed in 1999, and were signed to Montreal's independent Constellation Records label, where their other band Sackville was also signed.
