Komoča

Komoča ( _hu. Kamocsa) is a village and municipality in the Nové Zámky District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1416

Geography

The village lies at an altitude of 110 metres and covers an area of 13.476 km². It has a population of about 930 people.

Ethnicity

The population is about 85% Magyar and 15% Slovak.

Facilities

The village has a public library a swimming pool and a football pitch.
