Serge Chapleau (born
December 5 ,1945 inMontreal ,Quebec ) is a famous Quebeccaricaturist .Biography
After studying painting and graphic art at the School of Fine Arts in Montreal, Chapleau created in
1971 a caricature of the songbookGilles Vigneault for "Perspectives", a weekly paper distributed with the Saturday Editions of several Quebec dailys.During the following years, Chapleau collaborated in several other publications, such as " [Montreal Morning-Matin one] ', "Weekend", "current Event" and "We". Following "
The Duty " in1985 , he worked on the "Morning" in1987 , and7 days of1989 to1992 . After a return to the "To Have" in1991 , he became in1996 a cartoonist at "La Presse", a post that he continues to occupy.Since
2004 , his puppet character Gérard D. Laflaque, returned to television in CGI form on "Et Dieu créa Laflaque ".Spasm of Dupuytren
He suffers from

Serge Chapleau is a nine-time finalist at the Canadian Journalism Competititon of the Canadian Association of Newspapers, from
1995 to2006 ; he won first place on five separate occasions.Since
1993 ,Éditions du Boréal has published an annual collection of his best caractures, "L'année Chapleau".From
May 22 1997 toSeptember 20 1998 , theMusée McCord presented an exhibit on the works of ChapleauAislin , "Aislin & Chapleau Caricatures".External links
