Moscow Oblast ,Russia , located on theNerskaya River (Moskva'stributary ) some 92 km southeast ofMoscow . Population: 19,200 (2005 est.); 19,507 (2002 Census); 21,139 (1989 Census).Kurovskoye was first mentioned in the 16th century as a small settlement of Kurovsky ( _ru. Куровский).
