Richard Stubbs (born 1957 in Brighton, Victoria) is an Australian comedian.

Stubbs started his career in radio in the early 1980s on 3XY as part of the XYZoo team.Apeared on Eon/MMM Fm with Tim Smith , Bridgette Duclos and Brad (The Village Idiot) Mckenzie, last song on his show to be played was "Take A Message Maria" by Dandy Livingstone. Early in his television career, Stubbs appeared as a performer on "Tonight Live with Steve Vizard" and a Vicks Vapodrops ad. In 1999 he hosted the short-lived "The Late Report".

Author of "Still Life, Thoughts of a Man Hurriedly Going Nowhere" Pan 1998 , loves it known that it is used as toilet paper after all copies printed except for those Stubbs himself purchased were pulped.

In 2006, Stubbs joined 774 ABC Melbourne. He enjoys interviewing World War 2 veterans whilst re-enacting the battles with his model soldiers. According to James Valentine (ABC Sydney) he still wets the bed.Thought it "GOLD" when Bert Newton called his brother Grubby by Richard's name.
