Byron High School is located on the north side of Byron, Minnesota.
Construction of the new Byron High School was completed in the fall of 2006. It is located in Byron Independent School district 531 and is the home of the Byron Bears, whose colors are black & gold. It teaches grades 9-12. The principal is Mike Duffy and the superintendent of the school district is Dr. Wendy Shannon. The bears are consistently strong in football, boys' basketball, girls' track, and volleyball.
Byron, of late, has fielded one of the most competitive athletic departments in the Hiawatha Valley League.
