Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station is conveniently located near South Delhi and East Delhi localities. Being one of the three major rail heads of Delhi, Nizamuddin railway station tends to connect all the major cities.It is being developed to ease congestion on New Delhi Railway Station.
Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station is served by Northern Railway. Though a dingy place, the platform offers computerized reservation.Delhi's two important arteries :Ring Road and Mathura Road run besides. Moreover , Sarai Kale Khan Inter State Bus Terminals ( ISBT) is quite close to the station.This helps to carry passengers to neighbouring towns. Delhi has two other major railway stations, New Delhi Railway Station and Delhi Main (Delhi Junction or Old Delhi Railway Station).
