Celia Haddon

Celia Haddon is a British journalist and author, (born 1944). Her 34 published books include a series of best-selling small books about cats, most successful of which is One "Hundred Ways for a Cat to Train its Human" (Hodder and Stoughton 2001). She wrote three romances under the pseudonym Caroline Courtney. From l996 to 2007she wrote a weekly column as 'pet agony aunt' for the British daily newspaper, The Daily Telegraph. For her services to animal welfare she won the Blue Cross Award of l997. She is patron of Britain's largest cat charity, Cats Protection - www.cats.org.uk, and of the Rabbit Welfare Fund. Her website has welfare and husbandry advice on cats, dogs, parrots, cockatiels and other pets. She is married to the journalist and author Ronald Payne.
