John Langdon (typographer)

John Langdon is an American graphic artist. Langdon received his bachelor's degree in English from Dickinson College. He is known for his work developing ambigrams.He is known mostly through his association with Dan Brown, and the novels The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. He is now a professor of typography and corporate identity at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Langdon is also the author of the 2005 book "Wordplay: The Philosophy, Art, and Science of Ambigrams" (ISBN 0-7679-2075-9) which contains a foreword by Dan Brown.
