Presbyterian minister andcovenanter Andrew Cant (1590-1663).. He was a minister ofEdinburgh during the reign of Charles II, and consequently is assumed to have been an adherent ofEpiscopacy .The same person, or perhaps his son, was deprived of his charge in Edinburgh, at the Revolution, and, on
