Their mission is to eliminate severe visual impairment as a barrier to the fulfillment of lives of individuals with sight loss. Through proper education, training and equal opportunities as those of their able-bodied equals, the Child Foundation aims to create an opportunity where blind children can grow up and live, work and function as responsible independent citizens when they are adults; having their visual impairments being seen as just a minor physical disability.
