Ramankarry is a place in the
Kuttanad region ofIndia , beside thePamba River . It is 9 km away fromChanganacherry City and 17 km fromAlappuzha City and it is the main bus stop in AC (Alappuzha-Changanacherry Road), now a State Highway). Ramankarry was the gateway to other neighbouring villages of Veliyanadu, Vezhapra, etc., as it was the Main Bus Stop and was a Shopping Center for the villages near-by. St. Joseph's Church is situated at the center of the village. Ramankarry has a lot of small beautiful Canals, Coconut Trees along the banks of extremely beautiful vast Paddy Fields.
