Ram Prakash Gupta

Ram Prakash Gupta (b. Oct 26 1923 in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh — d. May 1, 2004 in Delhi) was Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and governor of Madhya Pradesh.

He was a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party .

He was Deputy Chief Minister when Charan Singh formed the first non-Congress Government comprising Opposition parties in 1967. He was Industry minister in Janata Party Government led by Ram Naresh Yadav in 1977.
