Temples of Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu is known as the land of temples. Nearly 33000 ancient temples - many of which are at least 600 to 800 years old are scattered all over the land. Studded with complex architecture, variety of sculptures and rich inscriptions - these temples capture the very essence of the culture and heritage of the Tamil land, which is historically more than 2000 years old.
