Harsin County

Harsin County ( _fa. شهرستان هرسین) is a county in Kermanshah Province in western Iran. The capital of the county is Harsin. The county is bounded to the north by Sahneh County, to the south by Khoramabad Province, to the east by Nahavand and to the west by Kermanshah. In the 1996 census, Harsin County had a population of 96,019 people, of which 55,079 were in the urban areas, 40,940 in the rural areas and the rest were nomadic.fact|date=August 2008 It consists of two districts, central and Bisotun, and four townships. The town of Harsin is 44 km east of Kermanshah, 1570 meters above sea level. Some attractions of the county include the Essaqwand Rock Tombs.
