Sarajevo 's business district, which has recently been renovated with the plans for the Unitic 3 and Grand Media Center. Construction began in2006 and it is expected to be completed some time in2008 . The Avaz Twist Tower will hold the record for being theBalkan 's tallest tower and one of the most interesting towers inEurope . It is made up of a twisting glassfacade and will be 142 meters tall with a 30 meter antenna reaching a total height of 172 meters. However, with the reconstruction of the Avala TV Tower in Belgrade, by the end of 2008, the latter will take the title for the Balkan's tallest tower.Before the Avaz Twist Tower
Before the Avaz Twist Tower, the
Bosmal City Center in Bosnia and Herzegovina held the record for being the tallest towers in Bosnia, whilstUšće Tower was the tallest in the Balkans (Belgrade, Serbia at 141 Meters tall). Avaz's current headquarters have been turned into ahotel and offices. The hotel is a 5 star hotel owned by Fahrudin Radoncic and goes by the name of The Radon Plaza Hotel.External links
