CEO of Borghese, a cosmetics manufacturer based inNew York City , and afundraiser for theUnited States Republican Party . In 1987, she purchased the high-end cosmetics firmLa Prairie , served as its CEO, and sold it in 1991 toBeiersdorf .Mosbacher served as national co-chairman of
John McCain 's 2000 presidential campaign and is co-chair of theRepublican National Committee 's Finance Committee.She is the former wife of Robert Muir,
George Barrie , andRobert Mosbacher while he wasUnited States Secretary of Commerce . Her sister, the former model Lyn Paulsin, 56, is director of public relations at Borghese. Her stepfather's brother wasJean Shepherd .Bibliography
