Treyarch Corporation is a video game developer that was founded in 1996 by Peter Akemann and Doğan Köslü (né Don Likeness), and acquired by Activision in 2001. It is located in Santa Monica, California.

In 2005, Gray Matter Interactive was merged into Treyarch.

As part of the 2007 Leipzig Games Convention Activision announced that Treyarch would be one of three developers behind their first James Bond based title, Quantum of Solace. The game currently has a release date of November 2008 as negotiated in the licensing agreement. Beenox and Vicarious Visions will be creating the title's PC and handheld versions.
