Stephen Hughes (politician)

Stephen Hughes (born 19 August 1952 in Sunderland) is a Member of the European Parliament for the Labour Party for the North East England Region. He has been a member of the European Parliament since 1984.

Before being elected to the European Parliament he was a local government officer.
