Bottecchia USA assembles bicycles consisting of columbus aluminum and carbon frames manufactured in Taiwan, and is only related to the long-time Italian bicycle manufacturer, Bottecchia, by an agreement to distribute bicycles in the USA under the Bottecchia USA name. The bicycles are sold exclusively by a select eBay merchant in Houston Texas.

The bicycles sold under this name are not the same bikes that are available in Europe under the same name brand. They do come with a variety of good quality components that make for an attractive product for the budget conscious shopper.

Overall, the bicycles seem fairly well priced for what they are, however keep in mind you must do all the assembly and tuning yourself, which can get complicated if you are not familiar with bicycles. However, the distributor recommends customers should have the bike professionally assembled at a local bike shop (LBS) to ensure that all is functioning properly, especially if you have no experience.

Other bicycle brands that may be associated with this group include Motobecane USA, Windsor America, Cycles Mercier, and Dawes USA.
