Jegsy Dodd

Jegsy Dodd is an English performance poet from Wirral. He came to prominence in the 1980s when he recorded a John Peel session with his backing group, "The Sons of Harry Cross". Dodd's "Winebars and Werewolves" album was a hit on the UK Indie Chart in 1986, reaching number 19.cite book |last=Lazell |first=Barry |title=Indie Hits 1980-1999 |year= 1997 |publisher=Cherry Red Books |isbn=0-9517206-9-4 ] His track "Grumpy Old Men" was number one in the 2005 Festive 50. In addition, he is a passionate supporter of the Reclaim The Kop campaign as well as a co-author on the hugely successful Liverpool FC book, "Here We Go Gathering Cups In May", which highlights the seven European Cup finals the club have appeared in.
