This small part of Cameron Highlands offers great acres of lands for tea plantation and other agricultural purposes. Therefore, this village is an ideal destination to enjoy a fascinating view of greenish landscapes.
Life in Kuala Terla could be boring for teenagers, but for retired senile citizen, Kuala Terla is considered a heaven. Peaceful is the great word to describe life in Kuala Terla. The villagers know each other well and for newcomers, its definitely not a problem for you to fit into this village's social network, because the people here were extremely friendly and kind. However, some of the newcomers (Different Ethnicity) may encounter problems while joining the society. This is due to cultural differences, language problems and Xenophobia. But newcomers could easily solving this problem by learning the local language well.
The people here converse well in Cantonese, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu. The population consist of mostly Chinese, Indian and Malays while others were the aboriginals (
Orang asli ) and foreigners such as Nepali, Bangaladeshi, Cambodian and Siamese. Amazingly, some of the foreigners here could converse well with the local native language too!Tourism

Second East-West Highway . This highway brought a dramatical increase of tourist because it offers safer and time-saving journey to reach the majestic highland.
